We love: Bruno Pieters “Honest by” – Interview Magazine

Koto Bolofo “La Maison” Hermes Book

“For the past four years, innovative fashion photographer Koto Bolofo has had behind-the-scenes access to the Hermes fashion empire. Bolofo, well-known for his portraits and fashion shoots and publishing in such prestigious periodicals as Vogue, Esquire and i-D, came to Monde d’Hermes in 2004 where he met Hermes head, Jean-Louis Dumas – one of 17 cousins who constitute the fifth generation heading the company. La Maison contains exclusive images made as Bolofo worked his way through Hermes’s workshops, discovering how their wares are made, from handbags, perfumes, scarves, pret-a-porter and shoes to the first accessory ever produced by the house: saddles. Nothing escaped his lens, not even the museum – a treasure trove of Hermes history, tucked away on Rue du Faubourg St. Honore.”

fabulous artist, fabulous brand, fabulous work…

The extremely talanted and now very happening French artist Julien Colombier, who is just one of the names in the creative crew of the remerkable artist agent Thierry Kauffmann, has just set London’s fashion crowd in trance by showing his masterpieces at the Chanel pop-up store in Harrods. The iconic French brand has produced a pop-up book in collaboration with the illustrator / paper artist / set designer Colombier as a part of a huge and remerkable installation on over 350 square metere at Harrods in London.

The fancy project will occupy the third floor of Harrods with an exhibition showing a mini-version of the Versailles gardens set from the Chanel Spring / Summer  2011 show. Shining in the first floor, the Chantel boutique will present ready to wear, bags, shoes and costume jewellery with a selection of exclusive pieces on sale especially for Harrods. There are also plenty of beauty products to choose from, including a limited edition Knightsbridge Collection by Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel makeup. The Chanel pop up at Harrods will be open for 3 weeks, so hurry up.
