Diese auf 150 Paar limitierte Version des K1X DCAC (“Don’t Call It a Comeback”) wurde für die Basketballmarke K1X und den -ebenalls in der bayrischen Hauptstadt ansässigen- Nachtclub Edmoses von der Designagentur Fantomas inszeniert. Mia san Mia goes Bussi Bussi, quasi. Die abgesteppten Neonlinien auf dem dunkelblauen Leder erinnern an die unverkennbare Ästhetik diverser Tennisturniere der 90er Jahre, welche im Rahmen der “Edmoses Open” C.I. letztens zu einem Revival kam. Velourledereinsätze, knallige Kontrastnähte, die ultra quitschige Sohle und die Edmoses-Bildmarke als Highlight auf der Zunge sowie ein zusätzliches Paar Laces (navy) sind weitere leckere Details. “Navy blue is the new black, you heard it here first … !”

Todd Selby is a portrait, interiors, and fashion photographer and painter/illustrator. Swedish denim brand ACNE just launched their first furniture collection at the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo in Paris in the former residence of Karl Lagerfeld. Acne’s creative director and founder Jonny Johansson who’s always had an interest in furniture took the Nya Berlin sofa by Carl Malmsten and played with it on a computer. The outcome are twisted designs covered in bleached, pale Acne denim.
