MCM pop-up store in Berlin

Check out the cool video on YouTube

Fabulous! The new MCM pop-up sore in Berlin totally rocks and actually turned into a real hot spot during Berlin Fashion Week. I guess I’ve been asked by more than ten guys where it was situated. The shop speaks to the younger, more fashion forward fans of the historic brand and sells extremely cute & trendy accessories for ones new beloved high-tech gadgets.

Though Berlin Fashion Week is already over, the shop will still spread some fashion spirit until July 16th.

So, if you happen to be in Berlin these days, drop by the Torstrasse 114 in Berlin-Mitte and check it out.

Karl’s favourite places in Paris

Any place turns into a total Hot Spot when Karls has even once been there. So, if you happen to be in paris soon, check out his favourite locations in the city.

My favourite shop is Colette on Rue Saint-Honoré.
For jewellery I go to Lydia Courteille on the Rue Saint-Honoré and for books Galignani on Rue De Rivoli, and my own bookshop, 7L on Rue De Lille. For clothes I shop at Dior Homme and I buy my paper at Sennelier. It’s next door to where I live – it is the most famous place for paper, pencils and stationery.

Although he names Raspoutine, Club Le Baron and Le Montana as the coolest places to spend an evening out in the city, he himself prefers a quieter social life.

I tend not to go to public places, I go to people’s houses. I am not a cocktail party person and I have no need, no want, as I have already done a lot of this in my life.

He is, however, partial to dining out.

I love to go La Maison Du Caviar because they have the best caviar in the world – there is nothing like it and I have been going since I was 16 or 17,. I also like the atmosphere and food in Café De Floré.

New Missoni Hotel in Kuwait

The now very happening Emirate Kuwait has another pearl in its skyline: the recently opened Missoni Boutique Hotel.
Round 90 different designs adorn the 169 rooms and suites and ten million mosaic pieces line every area of the hotel and its pool overlooking the Persian Gulf and the city skyline.
Just like in its fashion, the Italian couture house brings an alternative fusion of motifs and colours and creates a really unique experience and mood.

So, if you are a fan of color blocking or believe in colour therapy, that’s just the right place fot your next vacation…

A really big Guerilla in the very heart of Paris

One of the Guerilla initiatives I really loved…
The guys from the French Rail (SNCF) and its vacation planning department show that they not only put emphasis on good service, always good looking attendants (of course properly dressed) and stylish environment in the TGV trains, but also on smart and catchy promotion.

They recently placed a huge black box in the very heart of Paris and caused a small street party.
